The Development Officer - Operations will have primary responsibility for efficient management of Augusta Health Foundation’s back office functions. He/she will lead, manage, and implement functions including daily operations; financial recording and reporting; fund management; budget planning and tracking; gift processing and acknowledgements; administrative services; data systems utilization; data generation and analysis; and prospect research.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three to five years of managing development systems (Raiser’s Edge or comparable system); office and program operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business, Accounting or related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge fundraising software (or comparable donor database).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor with staff, board members, physicians, constituents, and donors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, highly organized and self-directed.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with peers and those in authority.
