About the Job
The Development Officer - Operations will have primary responsibility for efficient management of Augusta Health Foundation’s back office functions. He/she will lead, manage, and implement functions including daily operations; financial recording and reporting; fund management; budget planning and tracking; gift processing and acknowledgements; administrative services; data systems utilization; data generation and analysis; and prospect research.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three to five years of managing development systems (Raiser’s Edge or comparable system); office and program operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Business, Accounting or related field.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge fundraising software (or comparable donor database).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor with staff, board members, physicians, constituents, and donors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, highly organized and self-directed.
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with peers and those in authority.
