Position performs vascular exams per provider order, adhering to established departmental policy and procedure.
Uses and maintains equipment per departmental policy and procedure, to ensure test quality, patient safety, and to prevent downtime interference with service provision.
Complies with Augusta Health and departmental policies and procedures, including employee handbook, safety guidelines, quality improvement, and infection control in accordance with organizational vision and philosophy.
Annually reviews policy and procedure for fire/safety, code blue, disaster, and hazardous materials to assure safety of co-workers, patients, family/significant other, and self in the non-invasive vascular lab environment.
Licensure Requirements:
Must be RVT
BLS required
Education Requirement:
High school diploma or GED
